Technically, Fall isn’t officially here yet, but it’s coming soon and we are already in the Fall spirit! Fall dates with your partner are so much fun, so today we’re giving you some date ideas in the Harford County and Baltimore County areas!
Sunflowers in Jarrettsville, Maryland
A great date idea for the fall in Harford County is to go visit the sunflower field in Jarrettsville! The fields opened this year the weekend of September 9. Admission is only $5, and they will also be having vendors on certain days this year!
You can also hire a photographer to come in with you and do a photoshoot.

Fall Harvest Days at Weber’s Cider Mill Farm
This one might be good to do with your whole family if you have kids, but can also be a fun date idea for just the two of you! Weber’s Cider Mill Farm in Parkville, MD has Fall Harvest Days throughout September, October, and November.
Weber’s has amazing apple cider donuts and apple cider slushies – it’s worth going just for those alone! Their Fall Harvest Days include things like: a hayride, play structures, duck races, a straw maze, farm animals, and more!
During the weekends of the Fall Harvest Days, there will be food trucks, face painting, kettle corn & caramel apples, and more!

Darlington Apple Festival
The Darlington Apple Festival is a favorite among locals in Harford County. This year’s festival is on October 1 from 10am to 5pm. This festival has a wide variety of vendors, a cornhole tournament, and various contests!

Oktobearfest at The Maryland Zoo
What could be better than going to The Maryland Zoo and drinking beer? Oktobearfest at The Maryland Zoo is October 22 & 23. And this year is their 10th anniversary!
There will be an unlimited fall-flavored beer sampling featuring 50+ seasonal brews, live music, food, and fare from local vendors and artisans. And of course, you also get admission to the zoo! All of the money raised for this goes directly towards advancing The Maryland Zoo’s mission… so not only do you get a fun date, but you can feel good about supporting the Zoo!
